They haven't had sex (yet)-Momo because he's biding his time, Sumire because it's not right to have sex with your pet.
Sumire's job is to cook for Momo, give him money, wash his hair, and yell at him when he does something stupid Momo's job is to act stupid so Sumire can yell at him, greet her at the door, lay his head on her lap, and cuddle up in bed with her. Momo is not Sumire's slave: their relationship is a tad more complicated than that. She takes him into her apartment, feeds him, and after falling in love with his curly brown hair and puppy dog eyes, decides to keep him as her pet. Sumire Iwaya is a 27-year-old career woman who finds Momo sleeping in a cardboard box outside her condo.
